Circle интегрирует бесконтактные платежи в USDC на iPhone
Генеральный директор Circle заявил о том, что совсем скоро появится возможность оплаты в USDC с помощью iPhone, поэтому он призвал разработчиков кошельков заводить моторы.
Своё заявление он сделал после того, как стало известно о том, что Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) разрешила доступ третьих лиц к платёжному чипу iPhone для обработки транзакций вне экосистемы Apple Pay и Apple Wallet.
В Apple указали, что разработчики смогут использовать бесконтактные транзакции в приложении для платежей в магазине, проезда в общественном транспорте, карт лояльности, покупки билетов на мероприятия, удостоверений личности и так далее.
Исходя из поступающей информации, Apple откроет доступ к NFC-чипу iPhone сторонним разработчикам в новой версии iOS 18.1. Бесконтактные платежи будут доступны в ряде государств, в том числе в Канаде, Австралии, Японии, Великобритании и США. Потом список стран пополнится, пообещали в Apple и Circle.
Интересная деталь: чтобы интегрировать новое решение, разработчики должны оформить коммерческое соглашение с Apple и оплатить соответствующий сбор. Вот только пока неизвестно, какой же размер у размер взимаемой комиссии.
Отметим, что такое решение Apple не является случайным, а стало ответом на требования Европейского союза. Согласно новому закону о цифровых услугах вводятся новые правила для крупных технокомпаний. Теперь они обязаны открывать свои экосистемы для сторонних разработчиков.
